Allegra is a bassist, guitarist, and vocalist from the SF Bay Area. Her music is grounded in the roots music of the American South, including blues, ragtime, bluegrass, Cajun, and Appalachian old time music. Known for her clear, edgy singing and rock-steady rhythm bed, she has plied her trade at folk venues, festivals, and dance halls all over the country.
